Wonderful Experience with Westside.

Thank you Bruno, Armando and Sonny for all your dedication to my project. We now have our dream home.

We placed our trust in Westside to do an extension, kitchen and bathroom renovation. We even left the country and gave them full access to our home to perform the renovations while we were away. The team was there every day on time and worked diligently with high quality to provide us with a great end result. We are very happy with our updated home and have Westside to thank for this. We initially contacted Westside because they came highly recommended to us by friends who had used them for a second story extension on a Magil split.

Some of the benefits of working with Westside are:
1.	Professional crew
- Work started on the planned date and was completed a few weeks ahead of schedule.

- Their experience with this type of project meant there were no bad surprises.

- Our neighbors went out of their way to tell us how professional and respectful the crew were, taking care to minimize disruptions and securing, cleaning up after each workday.

2.	High quality workmanship
- Our roof was off and the interior structure was protected only by a tarp during the April 2023 ice-storm.  Definitely one of the most stressful moments during the project. Despite the high winds and heavy rains, no water got through the careful tarp job that the team had done.

- The team brought a high level of attention to detail in doing the finishings. They made every last detail looked good.  They were open to making any adjustments we requested, and it was clear they wanted us to be happy with the finished job. Certain touch ups needed to be completed after we moved back in and Armando ensured that he followed up to complete and not leave open items outstanding.

- Bruno and Armando’s years of experience showed through in the advice and recommendations and valuable input they gave in terms of tiling, paint, door selection, etc for all the finishings.

3.	Committed to making us happy with the project
- At various points in the project, there are always areas that don’t go according to plan or where compromises need to be made.

- Bruno worked with us on options with the goal that we would be as satisfied as possible with the final outcome, even if the ideal scenario couldn’t be achieved.

- Despite that fact that we had already paid in full for the project (with no hold back), there was no hesitation on their part to come and fix a few smalls things at our request.  This shows their commitment to delivering a project that their customers are happy with.

This was our first renovation project (and we weren’t using a designer) and we could have used some more hand-holding.  We initially agreed on a layout with Bruno and the architect that looked ok on paper, but at the last minute after mocking it up we realized it wouldn’t be very functional.  Bruno was very flexible in letting us make that last minute change.  The timing of all the decision points (choosing flooring, faucets, bathtubs etc)  and even terminology (e.g. plumbing rough ins vs finishings) was also not clear to us and resulted in us having to rush to make some decisions/sourcing.  Having said that, everything worked out well in the end and we’re very happy with the finished product.

Overall, we picked a winner in doing our project with Bruno, Armando and the Westside team and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing an extension to their home.  We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others and use them for a future project.

This is the second time I have been with Westside.  The first was a foundation and small extension.  This time it was pretty much an entire remodel.  3 bathrooms.  Entire first and second floor, and an extension over the garage.  My experience with Bruno, Armondo, and West Side was great.  I would highly recommend, and will do more with them in the future.  There work is great.  All the guys were awesome.  we had some challenges, but that's a given on any project.  They were very professional, and it is so impressive on how much pride Bruno takes in his work and ensuring that the customer is happy.  We get so many compliments on his work. Westside is unique and amazing contractor. Project managers are sharp and professional. They take care of you all the way and assist you from architecture/design stage through getting permit processes down to the final touch and finishing details. Bruno and all team members are quick on solving surprise problems (that always popup when changing existing house) and  happy to consult and provide all needed help.  I never work with a contractor that was in the original budget (0$ over budget) and in the original schedule (0 days delay). Even with the huge post covid pieces and labor fluctuation they stand for the original contract commitment and actually finished sooner. Workers are amazing from the professional duty to cleaning the site. I had a challenging project and all went as planned. BASEMENT RENO - DECEMBER 2021

In December 2021 completed our third successful major reno project with Westside Renovations. After Bruno & his team completed our fantastic home reno in 2018 and company offices in 2020 there was only one guy I needed to call when we finally got round to finishing our home basement (bar, bathroom, gym, tv/lounge area, pump room & storage rooms).

You get what you pay for but with Bruno you get that added reassurance of an honest upfront price and knowing you're working with an entire team of professionals you can trust 100%. A special thank you to Armando & Sothy who worked incredibly hard and fast to finish the project well before our Christmas deadline.

Also a huge thank you to Bruno who re-arranged his work schedule to complete our project before Xmas rather than the planned post Xmas.

As always Bruno managed the project & his team like a well oiled machine. Issues always come up on reno projects but in Westsides safe hands things have always stayed on time & budget, that's not what we hear from just about everyone else we know.

WHOLE HOUSE RENOVATION - SEPTEMBER 2018

Westside helped us summer 2018 with a major extension, kitchen, bathroom and whole house renovation.

Undertaking a large extension and renovation project, especially in Montreal, is a daunting task. Having come to the end of such a project we feel lucky and relieved to have selected Westside Renovations. From the first meeting Bruno was enthusiastic and fully committed in our vision. Upfront clear contracts and payment terms as well as assistance through the architect and city planning stage all helped move this first phase on quickly.

Bruno’s planning and project management was key to success but he’s supported by a first class team onsite. Led by David Roy Westsides team of builders and decorators were totally trustworthy, honest, hard working and took great care to ensure every detail was to our wishes. They went above and beyond what we would usually expect from other contractors.

One of the key factors and benefits of working with Westside is Bruno’s extensive network of suppliers and contacts. This benefit is not only to utilize A1 suppliers and tradespeople but Bruno was also able to help secure and negotiate substantial discounts.

Despite numerous small and large obstacles which arose during an 18 week construction project Bruno was always up to the task with positive assistance to resolve any issue, all with a sense of humour and smile. Although it was an 8 month project from planning to completion every stage went very smoothly exactly as promised.....no headaches, a safe pair of professional hands.

We Look forward to next time we work with Westside. We are delighted with the results and  happy to recommend to anyone with a similar project to use Westside.

We hired Westside Renovation for our project which was a major renovation including an extension and renovation of the entire 3 floors of our home.

We are overjoyed with the final outcome, Bruno and his team worked hard to make it happen. He exceeded our expectations. Throughout the entire process, Bruno guided us to make sure we are going to the right suppliers and picking high quality materials. As a result we have a stunning home that we never envisioned we could have!

This was our first project with Westside and they were really fantastic. The project was to add a floor to a split level house and Bruno made sure we had everything we needed on time, including the plans and supporting us through the permit process. During the work we were consistently impressed with how fast they were and how clean. Everyday we would visit the house and the site was always cleared and clean. Throughout the project Bruno kept us informed, provided recommendations and really worked with us to help realize our vision. Bruno's team have been amazing. They are always on time, and so open to answering all of our questions and making sure we feel good about the progress and outcome. We want to call out Armando and Sothy especially as they were on our project the longest and were really awesome to work with and everything looks beautiful. I have used Westside twice, once for a basement renovation and second for an addition to our home.  Both times I have been very satisfied with the quality of work and that is why I keep using them. We had a great experience in working with Westside for our home extension. Bruno and his team did a great job delivering our project on time and on budget. The team was extremely professional, tidy and we enjoyed having them around. This extension project included several steps such as the foundation, a new kitchen, and a complete refinishing of the ground floor; all steps where coordinated seamlessly without delay.
